Amber Weigand-BuckleyAmber Weigand-Buckley is the managing editor for On Course, the Assemblies of God national youth ministries (nym) magazine and Web site, and has served on the editorial staff for over eleven years. She also serves as for the host monthly On Course video podcasts. Along with her responsibilities with On Course and nym, Amber is the Teen Content Manager for Next Generation Institute (nextgeninstitute.com), a parenting web site; and has had hundreds of published works. These include articles for magazines such as The Pentecostal Evangel, The Australian Evangel, Cornerstone Connection, Club Connection, Enrichment Journal, Women’s Touch, Spirit (Vanguard University) and Buddyhollywood.com. She has been a contributor to Q&A: Conversations with 50 inspiring people (Pentecostal Evangel Books), Revolve 2009 (Thomas Nelson) and What's in the Bible for . . . Teens (Starburst Publishers). Her work has also extended to writing curriculum and devotional material for Radiant Life (Gospel Publishing House) and the Assemblies of God Missionettes Girls Only Program. Amber is a 1996 Journalism graduate of Evangel University (Springfield, Missouri) and is a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God. Amber and her Brit-native husband, Philip, have three daughters, Saffron (8 years), Imogen (5 years) and Penelope (1). Amber believes that when we take time to pour into the lives of students, help them develop meaningful relationships with a loving and relevant God, and give them the tools to empower them to live out their faith 24/7, the world will be transformed with the gospel message.
